Mr. Nand Kishore Nanda is an artist and the founder of Kriti Kala Kendra. He served as a Commercial Artist with the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, for over 30 years, bringing decades of experience in art, creativity, and visual expression.

A devoted follower of Lord Rama, Mr. Nanda always wished to dedicate his artistic abilities to the service of his faith and culture. With this vision, he founded Kriti Kala Kendra in 1985 - beginning with a small group of just 20–30 people who shared his passion for art, devotion, and Indian traditions.

For Mr. Nanda, the Kendra is not simply a theatre group. It is a space to learn, create, serve, and express devotion through art. He believes that anyone with an interest in the arts and a desire to contribute to the preservation of our cultural heritage should have a place here. With this philosophy, every artist, learner, and volunteer is welcomed with warmth and encouraged to discover and develop their own talents.
