What began in 1985 as a small collective of 20-30 enthusiasts has grown into a close-knit team of around 60 artists and members, united by their love for performing arts, culture, and devotion. Since 1987, Kriti Kala Kendra has been staging Ramlila across Delhi, carrying its performances and traditions through DCM Colony, Trinagar, Karol Bagh, Shivaji Enclave, Vrindavan, and since 2009, East Punjabi Bagh.

Over the years, the Kendra has become a learning ground for artists. People join to learn acting, direction, dance, singing, stagecraft, and other aspects of performance. Many eventually move on to pursue their own journeys, carrying with them the skills, experiences, and values they gained here. At the same time, new members continue to join, bringing fresh energy and perspectives to the group.

This continuous cycle of learning, sharing, and passing knowledge forward has become an important part of Kriti Kala Kendra's identity. While the team continues to grow and evolve, its founding spirit remains unchanged - to bring people together through art, keep cultural traditions alive, and offer a space where devotion finds expression through the performing arts. From a small group of devoted artists to a growing community of performers, Kriti Kala Kendra continues to build its legacy - one performance, one learner, and one generation at a time.
